In other words, I wanted an Easier way to make socks. This is what I came up with. Many sock knitters experience difficulty and frustration when forming the traditional heel, heel flap and gusset,,, in this book you learn a new way of creating the spacious fit and traditional look we have all come to love without the headaches of the "old way." You don't have to do heel flap turns or pick up stitches along the side of the heel flap. The shaping of the toe and the dreaded kitchener stitch with its "donkey ears" & "squared toes" are totally avoided with this method as well. The end product for this toe shaping method is a beautiful and naturally rounded toe. The 3rd issue I see sock knitters face is the "Single Sock Syndrome." In this book you learn how to make 2 socks at once, when you have finished the pattern you are finished with the pair of socks.
